The following terms and conditions govern the MAKSTARS program, a two-year integrated residential program in Mumbai designed to support talented students from the community in pursuing their academic dreams. Participants must carefully review and agree to these conditions before enrolling:

Anfaal Foundation's Sponsorship and Role

The MAKSTARS program is proudly sponsored by Anfaal Foundation, a visionary organization committed to empowering and uplifting underprivileged communities through education. This initiative reflects their unwavering dedication to nurturing talent and providing opportunities for students to achieve academic excellence.

As the primary sponsor of the MAKSTARS program, Anfaal Foundation plays a pivotal role in approving scholarships and ensuring the program's mission aligns with its core values of community development and social betterment. The MAKSTARS Board is required to consult with Anfaal Foundation before making any major financial decisions, including the allocation of scholarships or the provision of additional financial assistance. This collaborative approach ensures that the program maintains its integrity, transparency, and commitment to the foundation's overarching vision of transforming lives through education.

1. Eligibility for the Scholarship Male Students:
   • Scholarships are awarded to qualifying male students enrolled in the residential program.
   • The scholarship covers academic tuition fees for NEET/JEE preparation through the program's affiliated coaching institution.
   • Students are required to reside in the campus hostel as part of the program.
   Female Students:
   • Female students are excluded from the residential program.
   • Qualifying female students will receive a scholarship of up to INR 1,00,000.00 to cover tuition fees for NEET/JEE coaching at an institution of their choice (prior approval from MAKSTARS board is mandatory) in their hometown.
2. Residential Program (For Male Students) Lodging, Boarding, and Food Costs:
   • Students participating in the residential program will be charged INR 5,000 per month to cover lodging, boarding, and food expenses.
   • The fee must be paid at the start of each month.
   Security Deposit:
   • At the time of admission, students must pay a refundable security deposit of INR 50,000.
   • This deposit will be refunded upon successful completion of the program, provided there are no outstanding dues, damages, or disciplinary issues.
   Financial Assistance for Needy Students:
   • Students facing financial difficulties in paying the lodging, boarding, and food fees must submit a written application detailing their financial situation.
   • Additional financial assistance, if granted, will be at the sole discretion of the MAKSTARS board.
3. Health Check-ups and Medical Policies Health Check-ups:
   • All students admitted to the program will undergo a mandatory health check-up prior to admission of the program.
   Pre-existing Conditions:
   • Students with any pre-existing medical conditions or diseases must declare them during the admission process.
   • The cost of managing pre-existing conditions, including medications or treatments, will be the sole responsibility of the parents/guardians.
   Medical Expenses:
   • Any medical expenses incurred by the student during the program will be borne entirely by the parents/guardians. This includes costs for illnesses, accidents, or emergencies.
   Health-Related Termination:
   • If a student develops a severe health condition or if the program determines that continuing in the program is not in the student's best interest due to health concerns, MAKSTARS reserves the right to terminate the student's admission. In such cases, the student will be returned to their parents/guardians, and the program will not be held liable for further care.
4. Academic Partner and Scholarship Utilization
   • Scholarships are only valid when availed through the program's academic partner and cannot be transferred to any other coaching institution or program (except for female students).
   • Male students must adhere to the academic schedule and regulations of the affiliated coaching institution.
5. Commitment to Program Rules
   • Students are required to maintain discipline, adhere to program policies, and meet performance benchmarks throughout the two years.
   • Failure to comply with the program's rules or poor academic performance may result in the revocation of the scholarship or removal from the program.
6. Decision-Making Authority
   • The MAKSTARS Board reserves the right to make all decisions regarding admissions, scholarships, financial assistance, and program policies.
   • Decisions made by the board are final and binding on all participants.
7. Application and Documentation
   • Students must provide accurate and complete information during the application process. Any false claims or misrepresentation may result in disqualification.
   • Supporting documents, including proof of financial need (if applicable), must be submitted upon request.
8. Program Limitations and Scope
   • Scholarships are solely for the purpose of academic tuition and cannot be used for any other expenses.
   • The program is specifically for NEET/JEE preparation and does not extend to other entrance exams or courses.
9. Termination and Refund Policy
   • If a student withdraws from the program voluntarily or is removed due to disciplinary action or non-compliance, any unused lodging and boarding fees will not be refunded.
   • Students removed from the program for disciplinary issues will be charged a penalty of INR 2,00,000 in addition to forfeiting any refundable deposits.
   • In cases of health-related termination, unused lodging and boarding fees will be refunded proportionately, but no other compensation will be provided.
10. Additional Conditions
    • The MAKSTARS board retains the right to modify or update these terms and conditions as deemed necessary.
    • Any updates to the terms will be communicated to students in advance.
