The MAKSTARS 2025 admission process is designed to identify and support the most deserving and talented students. It consists of two stages:

Stage-1 Exam: Online Test

• Format and Accessibility:
  • The Stage-1 exam will be an online test, accessible via mobile, tablet, or computer. - Instructions and Link:
  • After successful registration, students will receive a confirmation email containing the test link, login credentials, and detailed instructions.
• Focus Areas:
  • The test will assess students on core subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and/or Biology, depending on their chosen stream (NEET or JEE). General aptitude and reasoning may also be included to evaluate overall potential.
• Test Environment:
  • Students must ensure a stable internet connection during the test.
  • Webcam usage may be required to ensure authenticity.
  • The test is timed and must be completed within the allotted duration.

Stage-2 Exam: Personal/Video Interview

• Interview Format:
  • Shortlisted students from Stage-1 will proceed to Stage-2, which involves a one-on-one personal or video interview. This will be conducted by a panel of judges comprising educators, mentors, and program representatives.
• Evaluation Criteria:
  • Students will be assessed on:
  • Academic Merit: Performance in Stage-1, clarity of concepts, and subject understanding.
  • Personal Qualities: Inter-personal skills, motivation, career aspirations, and alignment with the program's objectives.
  • Potential for Growth: The panel will consider how the MAKSTARS program can help the student realize their full potential.
• Interview Logistics:
  • In-person interviews will take place at designated centers (details to be provided).
  • Video interviews will be scheduled for students unable to attend in person. Participants will receive a link and instructions for the virtual meeting platform.

• Result Timeline: Results will be announced on or before April 2025.
• Accessing Results:
  • Results will be published on the official website: www.makstars.in.
  • They will also be shared on official MAKSTARS WhatsApp groups for ease of access.
  • Students will be notified via email and SMS (where applicable).
• Next Steps for Selected/ Qualified Students:
  • Selected students will receive detailed instructions regarding the admission process, fee payment, and program commencement.
